One of Merritt Technical Associates financial clients is looking for a senior JAva / C++ Developer with financial experience. Candidates should have the following experience and local to the greater Chicago area: Requirements: - At least 10 plus years of overall experience. Ideal candidate should have - Current work environment is Java/J2EE/Struts/Hibernate. - Familiarity with IBM websphere and running builds with ant, maven. - Strong C/C++ programming experience in a POSIX environment, experience programming software on LINUX platform - Good familiarity with Database, database connectivity, web technologies - flex GUI is highly desirable. - Good background in Financial applications domain and Trading is big plus. - Prior GUI application development using QT, swing or Flex is also a plus.
