I need assistance on one page of a website that I am nearing completion on. To complete this project, you will need to have at least advanced javascript skills, including libraries such as jQuery. The project is a simple interactive game called "spin the bottle". Users of the site will be allowed to click + drag across a section of their browser to spin a bottle on top of a wheel (keep in mind, it is THE BOTTLE spinning, the wheel will stay stationary). The wheel has individual tiles, and landing on a tile will set off one of 3 separate events: an automated e-mail sent to them, a php script that will award them with "points", or a simple animation that will display text and images. I can discuss full details of how this works in further detail upon selection for project, however this should be all you need to understand the functionality. I do not expect all of this to be done from scratch – most of the code for this is available online and just needs to be integrated together properly, I can direct to some resources I've researched. One of my biggest focuses on this project is browser compatibility. I don't necessarily need this done in HTML 5, pure javascript/libraries would be acceptable. Requirements for browser compatibility are IE8+, and android/ios mobile browsers (discluding any 3rd-party offerings). Also Firefox, chrome, and safari –current version. Upon selection, I can provide for you: • A .psd file with the layered design of the page • Some of the PHP scripts for allocating points • A prototype of how the game will work – built in flash • Some resources I have gathered on github and online – these can be used to piece together certain parts of it such as the rotation of an object/image, clicking and dragging easing + velocity, and so on..
