We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in defining software requirements for an exciting and innovative on-line Negotiation Game. This is a great opportunity to take a lead in a project across all its lifecycle stages and be involved in the creation of complex software from the ground up. The time commitment on this project would initially be approximately 2 months, 20+ hours per week. Thereafter, the time commitment required will be a few hours per week on an ongoing basis. The Negotiation Game business requirements have been collected at a high level. The game is currently in demo level of development. We are looking for a Business Analyst to: • Transform high level business requirements into detail level business requirements and Use Case descriptions • Define Functional Software Specifications at a detailed level to form an input into Technical Software Specifications for our Ukrainian developers • Define and document process flows • Create test cases based on the Functional and Technical Specs • Work closely with the Project Manager, Technical Lead and developers to ensure a good quality outcomes • Communicate across all levels of the project team, including the South African project sponsor, who's based in Sydney Requirements: • 1+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, working on large and complex IT Projects, preferably web based. • Demonstrate/share examples of relevant previous work • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills • Ability to communicate effectively with team members from various cultural backgrounds • Ability to analyze and identify improvements to processes and systems that add value to the user's experience • Ability to support testing and implementation to ensure a successful outcome of the project including UML skills and experience in defining Functional Specifications using Use Cases.
