The objective of the Layer 3 Switch Migration project is to optimize the network by moving TSA's remote site inter-VLAN routing functionality to the distribution LAN switch, and to standardize configuration across the enterprise. This project involves the configuration of 380 sites that need the switches converted over to layer three. Main Duties: Verify the L3 migrated switch is running an image with the IOS feature set that supports routing. If not an upgrade must take place before the migration begins Verify configuration accuracy and upload the new configuration file to the migration site switch The task will require the candidate to work telephonically with an onsite Verizon engineer to institute the configuration changes required for each site Verify communication to end systems at the site Document successful site migration Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States of America without sponsorship. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
