Functions and Responsibilities of the Designer: Build and maintain SharePoint web page components using a variety of software applications, techniques, and tools SharePoint 2010 customization and branding SharePoint 2010 U/I development SharePoint 2010 blog and pages customization Branding and customizing SP 2010 to a very specific design Experience with Section 508 and W3C standards is required Must be a team player who is a natural with collaboration, team work Absolutely must be able to work under pressure, on several different tasks at once Be a mentor to less experienced SharePoint Developers Customize and brand with automated content (content managed through lists, etc.) Integrate web parts and customization branding The successful SharePoint Designer applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Requires expert-level knowledge of branding a SharePoint site Strong SharePoint 2010 Front End development UI; someone who has a lot of experience in manipulating the presentation layer Experience creating features to deploy branding; SharePoint 2010 customization: Master Pages, layouts, and branding pages SharePoint 2010 blog customization Customizing the ribbon Layouts Branding / UI CSS with SharePoint JQuery with SharePoint XSL Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
