The Sr. FI/CO Lead will be responsible for leading the implementation and support of SAP Financials and Controlling to enhance the clients’ business functionality and overall performance. This role uses project management, consulting skills, business knowledge, and SAP solution expertise to effectively lead the consulting team and integrate SAP technology into the client’s business environment in order to achieve client expected business results. Skills: Must have 4 – 6 full lifecycle SAP R/3 implementation experience (Project Preparation till Go-Live). Must have 2 – 3 full lifecycle SAP R/3 FI/CO team lead implementation experience Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations. Minimum of 5 years of SAP FI/CO configuration experience. Excellent communications skills, verbal and written. Expertise in defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, fixing FI/CO configuration where needed, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under tight deadlines. Experience with US and Canadian tax requirements, interfacing to various vendors/applications, knowledge/use/implementation of User Exits, configuration in New G/L, roll up ledgers, parallel ledgers and cash versus accrual accounting. Experience in configuration and testing of Travel (Expense) management. Experience with configuration and testing of both EBS and Lockbox functionality (processing and post processing). Experience with configuring and implementing the A/P functionality including direct vendor payments, payroll, DME engine, payment files, and interfacing with banks. Ability to analyze, document, resolve and/or escalate issues/risks to the project in a timely manner. Ability to work with multiple teams (developers, consulting team, business and project management) and providing necessary planning, budgeting and weekly reporting.
