Title: Java Lead Developer Location: San Francisco, CA Duration: 12 Months Start Date: ASAP Description: Perform Techinal Lead role. • Quickly learn and understand the existing system and the new requirements • Interaction & Coordination with multiple teams at Customer location to resolve issues • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with competing deadlines • This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation • Provide support and trouble-shooting to resolve issues impacting application operations • Administer and enforce IT standards and processes • Provide technical solutions to automate processes or functions to improve business operations • Experience with SDLC processes and tools; source and software version control and build/packaging software • Provide guidance and mentor junior staff on corresponding job functions • The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert • Ensure IT adherence to service level agreements regarding infrastructure performance, limitations, and availability • Report status to Client Managers on Project Development and Project Issues / Risks • Ability to analyze the requirements and perform Gap analysis between the new requirements and existing system • Debug\Design\develop Java / J2EE based web applications based on the requirements • Interact with the Systems Analysts, Tech Lead, QA team, SCM team, and Business Analysts to provide the optimal\effective solution for a functionality • Should be aggressive in interacting with offshore teams and meet the delivery schedules • Strong analytical, problem solving and teamwork skills • Review Architecture, Design and Code • Anticipate in advance and report to the Client, if there are any possible delays in meeting the deliverable timelines • Review the Offshore deliverables and do one round of final unit testing • Must participate in Onsite / Offshore Daily / weekly calls • Strong Java web development skills with excellent understanding of J2EE (8-10 years) • Strong exposure to Spring MVC, Hibernate, and JPA frameworks and standard Java/JDBC, POJO, Servlet and JSP development • Experience with the agile development methodology Regards,KalyanAvani Technology Solutions Inc...Email: kalyan.s@avanitechsolutions.comDirect: 585-351-2939www.avanitechsolutions.com
