Secondary SEN English Teacher - ASD School in Sutton An exciting position for a Secondary SEN A position for an English Teacher with QTS is available in a forward thinking School with a creative approach to Teaching and Learning. A thorough knowledge of teaching and supporting pupils on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder is essential. Candidates must have training in Makaton and PECS, Intensive interaction and Sensory Integration is also desirable. The successful candidate will be responsible for a Key Stage 3 Tutor Group and will be teaching across Key Stage 3 & 4 drawing from the Equals English Syllabus and working with Pupils through ASDAN programme. Their will be a strong focus on the development of social, independence and communication skills. The school provides a holistic approach and is dedicated to meeting the individual needs of each student. Teachers and LSA's work in close collaboration with the schools Multi Disciplinary Team, including Speech & Language and Occupational Therapy.
