Our client is well established bank seeking Senior Core Java Developer [Swing Experience] Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ or Greenville, SC Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension Description: Ø This individual will be part of a team that works on the Ovation application which the three US Contact Centers use to service customer calls. Ø The application is continually updated based on project requirements and also on changes required by the Phone Channel business to implement functional and regulatory changes. Ø The application is based on the Lotus Expeditor/Eclipse framework and interfaces to a variety of backend systems primarily via WebServices and embedded browser integrations. Ø Day to day this individual will be working as part of our development team initially managing some code deliverables, but would be targeted to ramp up to interact with project team to work on design elaboration/clarification and defect resolution. MUST HAVE SKILLS: •6+ years of core Java experience •3+years of Swing coding experience •6+ years of J2EE experience •Web-service based client application experience Other Important Skills: •Need strong communication skills •3+ years of Eclipse RCP experience •6+years of SQL experience •6+ years of IBM RAD •Strong coding background vs. design experience. Coding more important initially, but need to be able to learn architecture of application to provide design recommendations. •6+ years of distributed windows experience •6+ years of HTML experience NICE TO HAVE SKILLS •Financial/Banking Systems Development •Enterprise SDLC experience •SWT experience Team Culture & Success Profile: Good team-work skills; need to work extremely independently.
