The SQL Consultant will be responsible for maintaining and designing the SQL Back End for our Logistics solutions (schemas, stored procs, ETL, reports, etc.). The resource would also be reviewing the existing SSRS reports and provide recommendations based on possible consolidation of the existing reports, improving performance, etc. Datawarehouse schema(s) need to be designed to provide slice and dice capabilities for reporting. New reports and dashboards need to be created to provide operational versus energy consumption comparisons. The resource must be a self-starter and results-driven. They must be able to provide results with minimal supervision. This will be an indefinite contract.
