We are applying for a EU tender for translation contracts in the General Affairs field for a period from 12 to 36 months. If you do not qualify, please do not apply at this stage. For the application I have to submit a team of translators which will be used for the duration of the contract (the translators cannot be changed afterwards). Could you please let me know if you fit into one of the 2 profiles below taking into consideration the documentation requested as proof of experience: Translators requirements: Either Profile 1: A university level degree or equivalent qualification in translation PLUS translation experience into the language combination for which the bid is made equivalent to at least 3000 pages. At least half of the experience indicated must have been in European affairs or public administration matters or must have been gained with translation services provided for local, national or international public bodies. Or Profile 2: A university level degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline PLUS translation experience into the language combination for which the bid is made equivalent to at least 4000 pages. At least half of the experience indicated must have been in European affairs or public administration matters or must have been gained with translation services provided for local, national or international public bodies. *** For experience to be taken into account, it must be accompanied by some acceptable form of proof, such as reference letters, copies of invoices, or certificates, all of which must clearly indicate the volume of work done in terms of standard pages as defined above, the language combination, and the person involved in order to be considered as valid.
