E-Learning Designer - Initial 6 month FTC - £-Competitive - Nottingham Our client is experiencing a significant period of sustained growth which has seen the business quadruple in size over the last 10 years. Profits have increased and are set to reach a new landmark in 2012/13. To support this period of expansion, the L&D team are looking to appoint and experience E-Learning content designer who will create high quality online e-learning and provide support to the L&D Team. Proven experience in creating e-learning content using a variety of tools and methods and an understanding of instructional design principles is essential to this role. You will need to be able to handle changing priorities as well as working independently and as pat of a team. You must have experience in using virtual learning environments and creating SCORM compliant content. Ideally you will have an e-learning design qualification such as TAP and have significant experience in producing e-learning content using a range of software tools, in particular, Captivate and Articulate. In addition it would be beneficial to have significant experience of developing online content with the necessary graphic design skills to deliver learning materials that meet a defined need. Project management experience would also be a benefit, in particular managing priorities and time. It would be desirable to have experience in LMS to support and maintain all types of learning delivery and also of converting paper based/tutor led training into effective e-learning solutions. This contract will run for at least 6 months but could very well get extended.
