Assistant Marketing Manager
Assistant Marketing Manager Financial Services Sector 6 months contract role – immediate start City of London Up to £230 per day Our client prestigious retail bank are on the search for a talented Assistant Marketing Manager to provide support to the development and execution of the Customer Growth & Retention plans to achieve category financial and customer metrics. This role will be initially for 6 months starting ASAP. Key Deliverables: Work with Product Category teams to ensure marketing plans achieve customer / product growth and retention targets and financial metrics. Support the development and delivery of campaign activity, including integrated campaigns, targeting definition, test & learn plans and marketing communication briefs for agencies. Manage and execute flawlessly the various category mandatory campaigns. Manage external agencies to ensure delivery of high quality, on-brief marketing communications and campaigns. Support the management, forecasting and reporting of the allocated marketing budget Commission and ensure delivery of evaluation / ROI analysis of marketing campaigns to drive greater efficiencies and improve performance. Escalate identified risk in accordance with internal governance and controls. Ensure there are no reputational risk implications as a result of activity within this role Implement and maintain business continuity plan for this role. Maintain Critical Incident Management process. Effective Management of a campaign marketing budget, including raising of POs, management of budget and escalation of budget issues where appropriate. Skills required: Marketing experience within a retail organisation, ideally financial services Relevant experience in briefing and executing campaigns using all elements of the marketing mix, in particular direct marketing Previous experience of working effectively with external agencies in delivering high quality campaigns Experience of successfully managing resources in delivering activity which is on-brief Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including building relationships with external and internal stakeholders Strong planning, organising and project management skills for effective delivery of campaigns Comfortable working effectively in a matrix, fast-paced environment Good communication and numeracy skills, including use of standard software (Word; PowerPoint; Excel) Practical problem solving capability relative to delivery of communications High level of drive, energy and personal commitment to success
