MySQL/SQL DBA - Database Administrator ??500 per day/3 to 6 months rolling A leading London based software development company seek an experienced MySQL/SQL DBA for ongoing software development projects. The SQL/MySQL DBA responsibilities include: Scripting & managing production database changes supporting the database portion of releases to production environments. Peer review of changes written by developers. Capacity management & performance tuning. Reviewing scripts & advising on suitability &/or improvements. Consulting to teams within the organisation on database design, optimisation etc. Tuning SQL databases. The skills for the MySQL/SQL DBA role, are: Experience administering & tuning Percona MySQL. Significant experience of production MySQL database administration - installation, instance creation and cloning, monitoring, managing users implement auditing. Significant experience with SQL. Proven involvement with release and change management. Practical, commercial experience with High Availability, High Transaction MySQL installations. Significant experience supporting MySQL on Linux in a commercial, production environment. Proven ability with Shell Scripting. Performance Monitoring in Linux based environments. Desirable MySQL/SQL DBA Skills Experience with Datamodelling. Exposure to NOSQL databases such as MongoDB. MySQL/SQL DBA - Database Administrator
