We now aim to become the UK’s No.1 communicator for the entire pharmacy and healthcare profession operating from our Belfast offices We are looking for a freelance graphic designer who specializes in magazine design. You will work with our senior designer, editors, sub-editors and event management to produce effective, impactful layouts for our magazines. Expected to follow templates and meet strict deadlines, you will also get to contribute design ideas, participate in feature treatment meetings, liaise with the production department to identify potential improvements and assist with ongoing design development. This will be entirely at your place of work. Of graduate calibre, you must be able to demonstrate a solid foundation of magazine design experience and a portfolio of striking magazine layouts, preferably across a breadth of consumer and trade titles. You will have a thorough working knowledge of Adobe InDesign CS5 and some technical knowledge of the various picture formats. It will also be beneficial to have a working knowledge of Word, Powerpoint, Acrobat and other programs that may be involved in producing magazine layouts.
