Moderate Java/JEE skills (~1-3yrs of experience) - Must have solid command on Java as a programming language and be well aware of supporting libraries - Must have good knowledge of Spring, Hibernate and experience building multi-threaded systems is preferred - Must have good knowledge of servlet containers (tomcat/jetty) and knowledge of weblogic is nice to have Experience in Lucene/SOLR or other search technologies (Attivio, FAST, GSA, Autonomy) preferred Experience Front-end technologies (HTML, Javascript (jQuery/ExtJS), CSS, JSP) - Must have good knowledge of a Javascript library (jQuery/ExtJS). - Must have hands on experience building UIs based on JSPs, HTML/Javascript/CSS Experience in system integration and webservices (SOAP, REST) - Hands-on experience building webservices with CXF, Jersey preferred. Work with analyst and development teams to develop innovative technical solutions, provide input to project roadmaps, provide estimates for technical components and technical consulting as required. Collaborate with users, QA and Management to ensure that enhancements and application defects are managed effectively. Communicate status of development activities as required.
