The role will initially require the successful applicant to support within the English department at the school, working with both low ability pupils, and the gifted and talented, to enhance their skill and ability levels. The school are looking for outstanding English candidates, ideally you should have a 2:1 or 1st class honours in an English based degree, and or have completed a Masters in English. Under the leadership of the new head the school have ambitious plans to improve standards, and you will have high standards and expectations both of yourself and the pupils and staff you work with.
