Job Title � �Mechanical Design Engineer, Electro-Mechanical Design jjFOX is currently recruiting a mechanical design engineer to work for a manufacturing client based near Redditch. The company has secured several projects to complete urgently and is looking for a design engineer to help develop new products. The role would suit a hands on designer with the ability to take projects from concept to production. The position is initially offer as a fixed term 1 year contract with possibility of extension or permanent position for the right applicant. You should have a good mechanical background with experience of sheet metal, aluminium or plastic extrusions, castings, injection mouldings or similar. A knowledge of electrical or electro-mechanical assemblies would be highly beneficial. You should be fully conversant with a 3D CAD package such as Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
