To be successful in this role you will ideally be studying towards a Professional Accounting Qualification. You will be someone who can hit the ground running and a manufacturing background would be desirable. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with all finance and non finance members. Advanced Excel is highly important and SAP experience is advantageous but not essential.As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the preparation of the UK financial and management accounts. You will be doing the balance sheet reconciliations and be required to interpret any results found with your line manager. Helping senior staff with the month end preparation will be key as you will be working to tight and pressurised deadlines. The role will also contain elements of compiling VAT and tax returns. You will play am important part in analysing risk for the business through thorough forecast reporting.
