Looking for an IT Security Analyst for a 12+ month contract assignment (can be extended for up to 10 years in total duration). Must work on-site.   Skills Profile: Microsoft Server Technologies = 5 years Knowledge of Microsoft Server Security Mitigration = 3 years Analysis of data and reporting = 3 years Experience comparing large data sets using Excel, Access, etc. = 3 years Overall IT Experience = 5 years Network and server compliance = 3 years Scanning tools (Retina, PGD, Nessus, SRR) = 2 years Understanding of IT controls (FISMA/CMSR/STIG) = 3 years Nice to have would be CISSP certification, MSCE, and Microsoft GPO knowledge or experience Researches, analyzes and troubleshoots information systems compliance and security issues. Responsible for analyzing compliance and technical control validation data to determine and report baseline variance  for all applicable technology environments. Interfaces with internal and external audit staff to ensure appropriate and accurate responses to audit queries are satisfied in a timely fashion.   Prepares and analyzes compliance information to develop mitigation priorities, milestones and audit responses.  Utilizing technologically advanced software, performs system monitoring evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with the corporate security policies and standards. Candidates should fully understand Microsoft server architectures and related vulnerability and compliance management. Functions will include scanning servers for vulnerabilities and government compliance requirements to manage initiatives and mitigate issues with equipment owners.   Ideal candidates will be self starters who have to ability to manage their time and projects while driving initiatives forward to meet strict deadlines. Experience working with Retina or Nessus scanning software is a plus! Candidates must have strong Microsoft Excel experience. Compile statistics and create trend reports.
