Part Time HR Advisor
An engineering company in Cheltenham requires an HR Advisor to work part time on a 3 month fixed term contract within their small yet dynamic HR team. You will be an HR generalist experienced in discipline and performance issues within a manufacturing environment ideally. Your employment law knowledge must be up to date in order for you to resolve any employee relations issues. You will be confident and experienced in dealing with fundamental HR functions such as proactive performance management, rather than policies and strategies. It is essential that you have previously worked with multiple cases at any one time and been able to take advice and guidance on certain issues but ultimately deal with the issue yourself. Ideally you will be CIPD qualified but this is not essential if you are qualified by experience of the above, and you will have good PC skills and able to pick up in-house systems quickly. You will be an excellent communicator with a sensitive but firm approach in your work especially when liaising with Senior Management. This is a 3 month fixed term contract, working 9.30-2.30 Monday to Thursday and 9.30-12.30 on Fridays.
