Business Analyst - IT and Finance (Projects exp), Dudley, West Midlands Contract Business Analyst - IT and Finance Interface (Projects exp): Location: Dudley, West Midlands Duration: 3-6 month initial FTSE250 organisation require an experienced Business Analyst for an initial 3-6 month contract. Role description for Business Analyst - IT and Finance Interface (Projects exp): * To act as an interface between IT and Finance shared service centre to capture and document requirements for Finance focused IT projects. - Work with all levels of Finance staff to capture project requirements and progress them. - Work as part of IT team in Dudley. - Liaise with other IT teams (Infrastructure/Service Management/Technical Architects as necessary). - Documentation to be in internally developed PMF Lite (Project management framework lite) Prince 2 based approach. Documentation includes: - Project mandates (ideas). - Project requirements (high level and detailed). - Detailed project planning. - Development of Business Cases. - Act as a point of contact for discrete projects. - Would suit well a BA interested in performing some project management work. Required exp for Business Analyst - IT and Finance Interface (Projects exp): A good understanding of projects. - 3 years experience of BA work. - Prince 2 exposure. - Experience of both package and bespoke development work. - Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle - Ability to work on a number of different projects concurrently. - Good attention to detail and ability to document clearly. - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). - Ability to work in fast paced environment. - Ability to prioritise well and work quickly. - MS Project/Excel/Word competence - Ability to understand potentially complex application interface requirements. Beneficial/desirable to role: - Finance BA experience; - Demonstrable IT qualification/experience; - Prince 2 Practitioner qualification; - Finance qualification AAT/other; (BA, Dudley, West Midlands, easily commutable from Birmingham). 310 a day Dudley, West Midlands 3 : 6 months (initial contract)
