JOB TITLE/Reference #: #117 Senior Project Coordinators for MMS Program Duration of Assignment: Twelve months Estimated start date: August, 2012 Location: GTA Position: Contract Our client requires the services of a Senior Project Coordinators for MMS Program, to provide deliverables including, but not limited to, the following: Provide Medication Management content expertise and/or facilitate expertise from the Medication Management Program area Manage the development of business use cases Participate in integrated plan development activities within the Medication Management Program area to ensure activities and dependencies from the work group (and work streams within) are adequately documented in the Medication Management Program integrated plan Monitor and help resolve any issues and mitigate risks Monitor dependencies and highlight any delays/issues in meeting timelines for MMS implementation Qualifications and Experience: Coordination of multiple project plans. Creates updates and maintains project schedules with new and changed work packages and plans. Assists project staff in preparation and maintenance of project charters, project plans, schedules, risk registers and activity reports, etc. Ensures that dependencies and links with other schedules are established correctly. Assists clients in the identification of timelines, milestones and project deliverables. Develops and maintains an electronic source for all business/technology documents related to the initiatives. Identifies and escalates incompatibilities and inconsistencies with respect to project plan dependencies. Sets up and maintains a project library. Recognizes and recommends ways to increase efficiency through analysis of project activities. Prepares analysis of time spent on completed project activities, as reported in the corporate Time Reporting System. May manage a number of work packages. 5-10 years of experience in Senior Project Coordinator roles in complex, medium and large IT projects. Levels: Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related technical program. Experience in a Project Office working with clients on their project management needs. PMP certification or educational equivalent. General Skills: Strong project management and business analysis skills. Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint and Microsoft Office. Experience with Master schedules, Digital Dashboards and enterprise- wide project reporting. Customer service orientation. A team player with a track record for meeting strict deadlines. General Skills: Previous experience assisting with the project management function on complex government or private sector projects. Knowledge of and/or experience in the healthcare sector. Knowledge of specific healthcare applications or lines of business. Financial and project costing. Platform Specific Technical Skills: MS Project, Project Server, MS Office Professional, Visio.
