Graphic Designer Plano, TX Graphic Designer Location: Plano Type: Contract As a member of this workgroup, you will be expected to be a highly motivated and contributing member of a production team accountable to successfully review, update and proof the in-product form graphics and instructions using the provided design tools and process documentation. You will strive to achieve aggressive production and quality goals and support the timely delivery of products. Required Qualifications: o Proficiency in Windows 7 & Microsoft Office o Some experience with, or exposure to, PDF-editing and imaging-related graphic design tools (i.e. Adobe Acrobat, SnagIt, InDesign, etc.) o Experience in graphic design processes such as page layout, proofreading and document handling. o Formal education, or equivalent experience, in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other related discipline. Primary Responsibilities: Design and implement data input screens Compare new forms and instructions against current, in-house versions to identify differences. Edit, update and format new tax forms Proof and inspect updated tax forms against requirements to ensure the highest quality of team output. Monitor, review and process assigned form change requests / defect reports as outlined by the state agency or internal developer. Achieve a level of proficiency with numerous in-house tools and processes necessary for the development of many tax products offered by Intuit Address customer needs and solves customer problems per department processes and project manager guidelines for assigned areas of responsibility Executes work plans recommended by project manager and mentor. Optional Responsibilities (based on business needs) Monitor internal form acquisition and form approval processes and work queues to provide visibility to any internal workflow bottlenecks, which may jeopardize business outcomes.
