Job Description: This is an opportunity to define the end-to-end strategies and vision for the future technology platform and the definition of the IT Strategic initiatives. The candidate will lead design and communications of solutions that will support the future technology goals. Review IT strategies, understand the implications to the application architecture, and identify/mitigate risks to solutions. Provide technical leadership and consultation to project team members as directed by the project manager. Support feasibility studies of new and modified operational procedures. Perform reviews of new and existing systems to ensure operational integrity and accomplishment of stated objectives. Interface with Technical wing of the EA organization. Must Be Technically Solid ~ Critical Projects. Solution Architect/Technical Development Manager Responsibilities Analysis and Design of Web Applications, Web Services & Data base design Interacting with other Business and IT personnel in order to provide technical expertise and services. Managing the development and implementation of projects Provide Technical direction in design, development and systems integration including client engagement from definition phase through implementation Overseeing project and support request progress; participating in, and managing work respective to CIT policies and procedures. Communicating status and issues in a clear and professional manner Responsible for planning and providing weekly status Minimum Required Skills and Experience Minimum of 7 – 10 yrs IT experience implementing and supporting business applications across various platforms. Experience working directly with Business capturing the requirements and converting that to a technical solution. Solid Experience in Service Oriented Architecture Strong skills in .NET and/or Oracle Service Bus Strong Relational database background – SQL Server 2008, Oracle 10G Strong Problem solving and root cause identification skills Solid Experience in Analysis, Design and Development of web sites and services Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization Must be a self-starter, work well independently and in a collaborative team environment Strong verbal/written communications and presentation skills Must have strong knowledge and experience with XML and Web Services (UDDI, SOAP, WSDL, WS-Security, etc.) Must be a strong team player and have the ability to work with multiple teams within IT 5+ years’ experience as team leader preferably working with both onshore/offshore Desirable Skills/Experience Any experience with BizTalk 2006 Any experience in SSRS, SSIS Experience in the Banking and/or Large Corporate Financial Services companies in a technology development and support function.
