This individual will manage environment, monitor statistics, monitor utilization, troubleshoot and engage vendors. They will need good communication skills, work part of a team, independently, good problem solving, analytical, Must have a good understanding of the product and have very strong communication skills. Must be able to disseminate technical/complex terminology in lingo that is easily understood by all. Must be able to communicate through all levels in the organization. Experience working with SharePoint 2010 Administration, in addition to the following: • Proven knowledge and use of PowerShell in SharePoint. • Experience in multi-server, multi-farm environments - Windows server 2008. • Experience in farm troubleshooting. • Knowledge of capacity planning within SharePoint. • Move content between servers. • Display and encourage SharePoint best practices. • Maintain user permissions. • Create and manage Sites, Site Collections and Web Applications. • Experience in SharePoint backup, restore and monitoring not utilizing 3rd party tools . • Hands on experience in installation and configuration of multi-server environment . • SharePoint Certification desired but not needed.
