The job is across TWO separate websites but it is the same ticketing system for both – the base will be the same but they have slightly different requirements in the type of tickets they need. One is for a Funfair so they will sell tickets in blocks of time i.e. blue wristband for 1,2,3hrs etc. and then will change to blue wristband etc. So for the funfair they need to split the system into blocks of dates and times They also have multiple locations so you can choose a location and then choose the time block you want to buy So in admin we can set location | Date | Block of time (blocks of time can be set to anything in admin – i.e. 1hr -2hrs – 3hrs and so on) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The other site is for an ice rink and they have slightly different requirements: They sell tickets in these types All day ticket Family Individual Group (discounted) Pensioners (New ticket types can be created as needed) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Common requirements for both Coupon system Front end calendar to choose date time, so user can view by year/month/week/day on calendar – choose ticket and add to cart Special one-off ticket creation/offers etc. Front end ticket checking(barcodes) Front end ticket sales Basically a ticket system capable of selling every type of ticket possible based on time/date/family/group/individual. With bulk discount applicable, special offers, coupons Pretty much everything possible with tickets! I have looked and believe Artio E-ticket system has the closest functionality to what is required so we will purchase this and customise the extra requirements as needed. The main missing part is a calendar which will display dates/tickets on front end. The user can choose a date and purchase the required ticket then. Artio has most of the required functions built in and so only what it does not contain needs to be added - this is not a re-write just additions to what is missing. The project MUST be completed in less than 4 weeks. I would prefer if bidders had previous experience with ticketing systems and calendar systems. We will be using Joomla 2.5 for the build.
