Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager / Design Engineer immediately required to join a leading multidisciplinary. The role requires being responsible for the project management and mechanical design works of numerous projects across commercial, education, local authority, health, office & industrial. Thia role is offering an immediate start on initially a 6 to 12 month contract basis, with the view of going permanent thereafter. Hourly offered is highly competitive. The main responsibilities of the role include the project management of numerous projects, engineering services design and consultancy work under the direction of the line manager or project leader. Overseeing the production of drawings, specifications and reports. Being involved in site surveys, client liaison, liaison with members of design/construction teams, project management, costing and any other relevant duties outlined within the specific project brief. In addition, supervisory duties may also be involved.   • Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering preferred but HNC level of qualification accepted • C Eng qualification preferable, or MIMechE or MCIBSE. Also Project Management qualifications desirable • Qualified Senior engineer with extensive experience of project managing mechanical and electrical works. • Strong client facing ability would be advantageous and also IS / TAS skills. • Ability to work to time allocations and manage resource to appropriate levels • Undertake, manage and be responsible for the level of technical quality • Financial management responsibility and able to work to cost allocations and limits   We welcome applications from candidates of all ages.
