JOB VACANCY We are looking to recruit to the following post; Volunteer Coordinator 14 hours per week, fixed term until March 2013,dependent on funding Salary: NJCScale SO1 SCP 29 £24,646 (pro-rata) The post holder will be responsible for the operation and performance of BHA’s Volunteer Service. BHA’s objectives are to protect and preserve good health and well-being in particular by promoting the good health and well-being of marginalised communities through engagement,education, support services, professional advice and training. Applicants must have experience of working in a similar position managing, supervising, supporting and co-ordinating volunteers. The Volunteer Co-ordinator will ensure that BHA maintains an effective and efficient volunteering programme and that their volunteering opportunities are publicised and promoted accordingly. The Volunteer Co-ordinator will coordinate the work of the volunteer service throughout the whole of BHA, ensuring the provision of support and supervision for volunteers; ensuring adequate cover for services by volunteers and planning and agreeing volunteer work plans.
