For immediate consideration on this opportunity, please send your resume as a Word attachment to: chuck.oeland@adeccona.com Sales Manager - Channel Sales Our client, a leading Consumer Electronics Company located in the Palo Alto area is seeking a Sales Manager, Channel Sales for a direct/permanent career opportunity! Will build relationships with buyers, sales reps and key industry players. Will ensure that the customer is taken care of and to build a successful sales history. Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Manage and grow our existing retail/distributor business. * Demonstrate an ability to build/develop relationships with buyers and independent sales reps. Will communicate with account buying teams to determine success of current assortment, discuss new business opportunities. * Identify opportunities and challenges within account base and create strategies to maximize sell through, profit revenue and market share. * Work with customers on projects including in-store POP, custom display projects and logistical needs and concerns. * Provide support to account by properly setting up contracts, agreements and item set up sheets. * Obtain sell thru information and accurately forecast needs in conjunction with buyers and inventory planners. * Successfully sell into targeted new accounts and establish new channels of distribution for company products. * Sell and achieve a minimum average of 10% overall account growth per year based on expanding current business and new product introduction. * Coordinate all account needs within company to ensure 100% customer satisfaction (internal departments including accounting, operations, warehouse etc). * Participate in selling tradeshows, meetings, strategy sessions to further sales department goals. * Travel as needed to account meetings and trade shows. * Monitor account's in-store, and print presentation of company products, as well as study competitive products in retailers. Desired Skills % Experience: * BA/BS required * Ideal applicants have consumer electronics experience, 3-5 years sales experience and 2-4 years working with Retailers and Distributors preferred. * Have Excellent writing, verbal and analytical skills. Fluency in additional marketable languages a plus. * Have computer skills in complete Microsoft Office Suite * Must love to sell and be willing to travel up to 40% * This career opportunity is available now!
