We are looking to fill a full-time opening in our Financial Related Services (FRS) group located in our Albany, NY area office. Our Financial Related Services (FRS) group is a leader in providing innovative financial education services that enable corporate employees to understand, appreciate and maximize their benefit and compensation plans within the context of their overall financial planning. Responsibilities: As a Databa se Administrator, the successful candidate will work with staff, vendors and clients to create and maintain the databases and load processes that enable Ayco ’s web sites. He or she will be responsible for the definitions of client data- file requirements and the loading of those files. He or she will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the database environment and will serve as a key point of contact between the web development team and staff, vendors and clients regarding file transmission and data- file issues. Requirements: Ø Four-year degree in computer science or information s ystems, or any other degree with equivalent experience. Ø Two years ’ experience using Microsoft SQL Server in a database analyst or database administrator role on an application with significant database-driven features . Ø Proficiency with advance d SQL queries . Ø Proficiency with data loading and extraction through batch processes . Ø Solid background in relational database concepts and current Internet technologies. Ø Project experience through t he full development life cycle ─ analysis, design and imple me ntation . Ø Experience with performance tuning, optimization techniques, transaction monitoring, and maintenance of a mission-critical production environment. Ø Excellent communication skills. Ø Experience with database security topics, database encryption products or Windows Server administration a strong plus . Ø Knowledge of tax, investment or financial planning concepts a strong plus.
