Job Title: Java Tech Lead Type: Contract- 6 months Location: Atlanta, GA 30346 Our client is seeking Java Tech Lead for a 6 month contract in the Atlanta area. The Java Tech Lead will be a lead member of a self-organizing team developing under an Agile methodology. The candidate will be responsible for supporting existing features and functionality of client's websites utilizing SpringMVC 3 and JQuery. Java Tech Lead Responsibilities: Serve as the escalation point for technical issues Provide day to day technical leadership for the team and make practical technical decisions regarding customer and internal issues on a daily basis Hands on coding Perform code reviews, resolve technical issue escalations, and log analysis Review and present data on a monthly basis of site availability to business partners and upper management Work closely alongside the team's Director and will be responsible for some aspects of Project Management Lead relationships with the business and vendor teams using excellent communication and interpersonal business skills Requirements: Excellent Softskills/Interpersonal Skills-Ability to lead developers, and interact professionally and effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams Experience with Java, Spring MVC, JQuery, JDK 1.6, JUnit Ability to do code reviews and take code escalations Experience with log analysis, documentation, and insuring issues are addressed with new releases Must be a self-starter and a decision maker, and have proven ability to manage one's Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience with RUM tools, like Keynote and Tealeaf Experience with Log Analysis tools (ex splunk) Project Management skills Please contact Janna Tucker Synergis is a woman-owned company that serves a myriad of clients across nearly all industries, from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies.
