Adzuna is a next generation search engine for classified ads founded by 2 serial entrepreneurs – the guys behind the success of Gumtree, Zoopla and Qype. Adzuna was launched in July 2011 and has rapidly grown to hundreds of thousands of visitors a month, and is well funded by some of the top investors in Europe (Passion Capital, Index Ventures, The Accelerator Group and angels). We are offering 12 week internships, a great opportunity to work on an intense online outreach campaign and work closely and learn from the small, but talented Adzuna team. You will help execute online promotional campaigns on channels such as search engines, social networks, forums, blogs and direct email. We are after people who are: - Passionate about online with a thirst to learn more about internet marketing and social media - You should be well organised and analytical - A great communicator with a flair for creative writing - A natural promoter - If you’ve worked or started your own website that would be a + - Not afraid of a bit of hard work! - A website of your own or some web experience - You MUST be a native English language speaker You will gain: - Knowledge about executing and managing online marketing/promotion campaigns - An understanding of marketing strategy (specifically a crash course in search engine optimisation, learning from the best) - An understanding of the broader classifieds and local online market - Exposure to website design, development, blogging and social media - An invaluable insight into life in an Internet startup You will also gain valuable transferable skills from working in a fast-paced and challenging environment, as well as an opportunity for a good, strong reference. If you’re really, really good, there might even be a job for you after you graduate. This job is based at our office in Clapham, South West London.
