Our client, located in Santa Ana, California, is seeking a QA Test Lead who has experience with structured testing and tools like ALM from Smart Bear or Quality Center from HP. The firm has created a high-level, but the Lead must have the ability to create a detailed work plan. Main Duties: * Manage day to day creation of test case * Create regression testing and review deliverables from vendor for completion * Primarily manual, black box testing Qualifications: * Demonstrated test leadership experience with the ability to manage scope changes * Extensive knowledge of QA procedures, principles, and tools * Advanced analytical and trouble-shooting skills * Excellent leadership ability * Organized, detail-oriented, accurate and thorough * Able to prioritize and complete concurrent projects * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Effective in communications with customers * 8+ years' experience in hands-on testing of commercial software applications with exposure to the full development cycle - from requirements through post-release * 2+ years' experience leading a test team of 2-5 QA Engineers * Proven experience with automated and manual testing including regression, performance and functional testing * Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
