Project Manager - Unified Communications
This position will serve as a Project Manager for a program providing the latest and greatest Unified Communications Products/Features to Sales for to increase revenue and overall productivity. The Project Manager will also be responsible for specific product/feature implementations globally across the program. Direct and manage project development from beginning to end Develop project plans and associated communications documents Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project deliverables Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Identify and manage project dependencies Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools with an expedited implementation timeline Track project milestones and deliverables. Deliver weekly status reporting to project team Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Deliver communications to entire Program Audience on Product/Feature EnablementThis person should have a collaborative work ethic and an ability to work in a fast pace, ever changing environment. They should be flexible yet proactive. They should have the skill set to forge ahead through Beta testing issues and work with various Business Units to resolve identified issues. This person should hold high leadership skills and proactively obtain information about products/features on the UC roadmap in preparation for implementation. The candidate should have advanced Project Management Methodology Knowledge. They should also have an understanding of telephony, networking protocols and development cycles. The candidate should have experience working in large enterprise environments. Cross-departmental project experience is fundamental to success in this department. Able to translate project specifications and requirements into project plans will be critical to the roll. Visio and Power Point presentation familiarity is required. Being able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment and participate as a team player is crucial.
