Job Description Our client, based in the Ayrshire area is looking for an experienced Chemical Material Handler to join their team, controlling and managing the day to day activities of the Raw Material chemical warehouse and liaising closely with the process area.  It will be your specific role to ensure you are implementing the Good Manufacturing Practises and standards on shift within the Chemical Storage Areas continually aspiring to the needs of product quality and customer requirements alongside ensuring that all equipment, processes and procedures are being followed to meet GMP and Health and Safety Standards during daily working. Key Competencies Must have previous experience within an industrial process environment Good knowledge of chemical properties, working with MSDS, working with COSSH registration Strong accuracy and diligence when carrying out tasks Good communication skills Previous experience within a warehouse environment, forklift license, PF scanners, ect Previous experience of working in a GMP site Systems experience of SAP B1 and Microsoft office Key Responsibilities Contribute to the departmental KPI measuring and reporting to the Warehouse Manager and participate and contribute in daily shift meetings Participate in shift changeovers and information exchange with shift peers within the process room Ensuring that all the chemicals are located into the appropriate store location and making sure the storage areas are well maintained Responsible for managing spillage control within the chemical storage area and ensuring that daily health and safety requirements and checks are completed Responsible for supplying/returning the picked materials to the process area from the chemical store location ensuring the integrity of the material, batch materials, identification and storage conditions Support other areas if the business as and when requires (i.e Dispensary operation in process room, etc) Contribute to the risk assessment program of the Chemical Storage Areas If you have the ability to implement a continual improvement philosophy, follow company guidelines, policy and systems for Health, Safety and the Environment as well as building trust through effective communication with all departments of the group and finally offer support to any other areas of the business as required, I would like you to send me your CV to gary@tenlive.co.uk Ten Live are recruiting this vacancy using our techniques based on : ISO 9001:2008 ISO 14001:2004 OHSAS 18001 : 2008 We are an employment business recruiting this permanent role on behalf of our customer.
