A leader in the Kitchen and Bath Industry is looking for an experienced design professional to work on a freelance/contract basis.  This position is best suited for an individual with kitchen design experience and some knowledge of lighting for kitchen cabinets.  The work can be done from home or your personal studio; there is no requirement to live close to our office.  The pay is hourly based on the time you spend working on each project.  The work schedule is completely flexible as long as the work gets completed. Our customers come to us with a drawing of a kitchen, closet, etc…and we provide them with a complete layout of where the lights should be mounted, a parts list to order, and a price quote for the project.  It is important that this all be done within 24hrs of receiving the request for standard projects.  Some take more time, some less time.     Key responsibilities include: ·       Working with trade professionals to design and quote Kitchen, Bath, and Closet lighting layouts ·       Communication with our customers and our customer service staff in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner ·       Complete understanding of our lighting program and its proper application     Requirements: CKD preferred BA in design or equivalent experience Must be able to understand technical drawings and blueprints
