POSITION SUMMARY The Network Engineer will assist in the selection, design, and installation of secure networks and networking infrastructure. The Network Engineer is responsible for design, implementation, and day-to-day support of Cisco ASA Firewall/VPN, local and wide-area networks, and Cisco wireless technologies. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Key objective of this position is to ensure the sustentation of PlumChoice networks and related infrastructures to achieve the highest degree of uptime and with great emphasis on maintaining current enterprise-class security. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with limited supervision. • Cisco Wireless-LAN design and implementation • Cisco ASA VPN design and implementation • Cisco Network and Firewall Administration SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Strong Cisco ASA5500 series firewalls • Minimum 4 years of network engineering experience; possesses a comprehensive understanding of network management operations and security. • Strong Cisco Wireless Experience • Cisco Routers and Switches: ASR1000, 7200, 6500, 3900, etc. • Routing Protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP (EBGP, IBGP), Route redistribution • Experience working with PCI standards or other compliance regulations; HIPPA, SOX, FISMA. • Certifications and Job Experience: CCNA Desirable EDUCATION N/A ADA DISCLAIMER: In developing this job description care was taken to include all competencies needed to successfully perform in this position.
