Service and Operations Administrator (Banking) City of London Fixed term contract � 6 Months �26,000 Pro Rata Our client�s UK Retail Banking Division services a large number of existing customers through a combination of a telephony service, postal service and operational processing in relation to direct savings. Within this role you will provide flexible support to the Retail Service, Operations and Inward/Outward payment teams, responding to client�s requests for support in relation to a range of activities. You will be able to demonstrate excellent telephony customer service support, dealing with around 40 calls in a day and have a strong emphasis on quality of service, together with strong analytical skills which will enable you to respond in writing to client�s requests. A strong understanding of BACS, FPS, SWIFT payments processes and deadlines is required together with a working knowledge of the cheque clearing system and reconciliation processes. Experience in retail banking/banking/ financial services including a background in a busy customer service environment is essential together with strong and demonstrable data entry skills and experience of static data changes. Experience of drafting and reviewing customer correspondence is also desirable with good PC skills (Word and Excel). Applicants must be able to commit to the fixed term of the contract and be flexible to work a shift rotation 8-4, 9-5 or 10-6. Headstart Employment is an Equal Opportunity Employer
