We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the Reporting Team based at our Head Office in Trafford Park. This is an interim role to allow for a handover, while the permanent recruitment takes place. As such a temp to perm opportunity is on offer for this role. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, this Production of monthly management accounts for a £400m turnover business Manage 4 direct reports, Preparation and posting of month end accruals for WIP, cost of sales and overheads. Production of weekly sales and gross profit reports by Client and Group. Month end GP, balance sheet and nominal ledger reconciliations. Reporting for Overseas entities Commercial analysis and reports for the executive and operational managers Ad hoc reporting and analysis of monthly sales and costs for key clients, contracts and cost centre managers. Support the Group Financial Controller in preparation of all external statutory financial reporting. First point of contact for year-end audit Experience and Skills Candidates will be qualified and commercial in their approach who can combine a knowledge of the financial reporting requirements of a £400m turnover company with the ability to produce high quality monthly and year end reports for managers. In addition, this person will take responsibility for providing strategic management information and proactively looking at ways to improve processes and systems. You should be numerate with a detailed knowledge of Excel and able to demonstrate the ability to deal with the pressure of month end deadlines. This is a high profile role requiring interaction with many different parts of the business so you should be a confident communicator and take an active interest in the organisation.
