Ability to assist Supervisor with departmental management. Reading of blue prints and performing take-offs' for small to large sized projects. Expert level of SCS design knowledge and ability to apply this knowledge to enhance sales opportunities. Providing high-level technical direction and project enhancement opportunities to Sales people and clients as appropriate. Expert level of knowledge of standardized estimating techniques. Ability to provide clear and concise project proposal (including all pertinent exclusions) as well as project enhancements and/or value engineering options. Ability to transfer proper engineering scope to project PM for implementation of project installation phase. Expert level of knowledge with MS Office. - Voice systems engineer: Advanced level of certification in the design and installation of VoIP phone systems from top tier manufacturers as well as design certifications in the area of structured cabling (cross-functional training). - SCS systems engineer: Advanced level of certification in the design and implementation of structured cabling systems as well as design certifications in the area of voice systems (cross-functional training).
