Job Description: Systems and Quality Assurance for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Team to complete testing tasks including manual and automated efforts for multiple software applications. Responsibilities: - Completing task driven testing assignments for multiple applications including, but not limited to, test case creation and execution - Reporting test results and status using strategies and standards defined by the QA Lead - Maintaining QA processes and standards in new projects and assisting in the definition of new processes Skills/Experience (Required): - Minimum of 3-4 years experience in a software development environment with emphasis on QA and testing - 2 years experience in developing scripts and/or testing strategies using Automation tools (e.g., HP QuickTest Professional, HP LoadRunner, HP Performance Center, HP Quality Center) - 2 years experience implementing automation scripts to support regression testing and Production gate keeping - A good understanding of QA concepts and methods of implementation - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with analysts, developers, and functional users - Ability to foster a positive and constructive relationship with project team members - Experience with SCRUM process - Flexibility to work on multiple projects - Ability to document, track, and verify the resolution of defects - Ability to generate test results reports, leverage established QA standards, and assist in improving the QA standards Preferred: - Basic programming exposure using VB and ANSI C scripting language - The ideal candidate will also have experience or understanding of Java or AJAX, J2EE, JSP, HTML, and/or portal development Education: Required: Bachelor's, Computer Science and/or Information Technology or other related technical degree in progress Preferred: Certificates or training in QA and/or testing techniques **Must be able to work on a W2 in the US for any employer without sponsorship (i.e., no H1B)**
