Java Developer with WebServices Experience Long Island City, NY Trigyn's Direct Government Client has a contract assignment (7 Months) for a Java Developer in Long Island City, NY. Description: Trigyn's Direct Government Client is seeking a JAVA Application Developer to implement the data linkage infrastructure. Specific activities include: Design, develop and implement the Linkage Request Approval form and approval workflow process Integration of request form with data linkage infrastructure process specifically routing approved requests to the data linkage system. Automate retrieval of data sets from source systems for linkage requests Mapping source system disparate data structures and naming conventions to standard data linkage structures Automate and integrate linkage services to identify common entities (such as patient, provider and facility, locations) for mapped data sets Integrate batch geocoding services in order to visualize data spatially Integrate other reference data sources such as Census data in order to examine socio-economic factors. Produce automated summary canned reports for each linkage request Ability to extract linked data sets in order for client staff to conduct more detailed analyses MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered. Candidates must have extensive experience, at an expert level, with the following concepts/ technologies: Java 5/6, Struts 2, Spring, XML, AJAX, SQL Server 2005/2008, Web Services, ebXML, WS-Security, J2EE application development (Java/JSP), XML, SQL, and SQL 2005/2008 Server. Candidates should have several years experience in design, analysis, and programming Java applications based on Strut2 technology.
