Business Analyst - Banking Compliance
We are currently seeking a full time Senior Business Analyst to support various Compliance initiatives. Primary responsibilities include coordinating the implementation of enterprise information security policies with the Bank and Home Loans, working with project management and IT to assist with the development of automated processes and policy integration, and ensuring that policies support regulatory requirements for Bank. Responsibilities: Analyze business needs and document the business requirements for compliance and regulatory and integration initiatives relating to Retail and Home Loans divisions Enable subject matter experts to articulate the capabilities they need to meet their objectives by conducting interviews and gathering information. Spearhead enterprise and vendor regulatory, risk evaluation, and security reviews Review internal and external audit results with appropriate management personnel and provide recommendations Lead compliance projects and initiatives to implement appropriate and effective IT controls that comply with SOX, GLBA, HIPAA, PCI, etc requirements. Facilitate and spearhead regulatory, risk, and security reviews Gather business requirements from various stakeholders in different levels of the organization Act as liaison between business stakeholders and vendors/software developers to identify and resolve issues. Build and update diagrams as required by the project; ensure that all diagrams and descriptions are complete and consistent. Lead and facilitate meetings to ensure output is documented. n n n n Design and implement compliance testing and documentation across all process domains. Develop user acceptance testing procedures and test cases Ensure that new feature development meets acceptance criteria for stated business requirements Assist Project Manager with the prioritization of new feature development Continuously seeks innovative ways to improve operation productivity, through the introduction of new technologies, systems, methods and controls Desired Skills and Experience: Minimum of 7 years Business Analysis experience within a Banking and/or Financial Services environment preferred Experience with SOX, GLBA, HIPAA, and PCI requirements preferred Previously exposure to SAS70 reviews preferred Experience interfacing with various auditors preferred One or more of the following designations a plus: o Certified Information Systems Security Professional o Certified Information Security Manager, or o A similar professional certification Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under minimal supervision Strong follow-through skills with attention to details, monitoring, and updating Self-motivated with strong leadership, problem solving, and relationship management skills to effectively coordinate the IT control and remediation efforts Excellent writing and communication skills (both technical and non-technical) Experience writing both technical and non-technical documents Ability to author and execute Test Cases, per predefined Test Plan Experience communicating to both technical and non-technical teams and individuals Experience in project management and collaborating with cross-functional groups Able to create and/or provide input to project plans as they pertain to requirements.
