Due to the nature of the assignment, US Citizens and Green Card holders are eligible **************** Phone: 1-(732)-623-9832 ***************** Job Title : Solution Architect – IT Infrastructure [Global System Integration] Location : New Jersey / California Duration : 6 months Main Purpose of Job: The Solution Architect will work with the customer and the account team to identify customer pain areas, new requirements and develop solution that addresses those requirements. The Architect would work very closely with other technical members to build the deliverables including Requirement Specifications, High Level and Low Level design documents. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Define IT Strategy for customer, keeping in mind customers long term objective 2. Help in preparing business case for IT infrastructure programs 3. Prepare and present Business Case, Solution to the Customer in the pre-sales phase. 4. Prepare roadmap for any early adoption of technology and its business benefits 5. Define technical scope of activities and get stakeholders’ agreement to the Acceptance Criteria prior to start of engagement 6. Define design constraints/decisions based on requirements 7. Identify technical risks and dependencies, and possible mitigation plan 8. Mid-course correction in design, in case of change in requirements from customer 9. Change in the design if required based on test results 10. Leads technical discussions in workshops and meetings on area of expertise 11. Work and validate RFP response and proposals for accuracy in design and effort estimates with timely closure 12. Articulate how technology can provide business benefit to customer. Qualifications: 1. Engineering Graduate or Equivalent 2. Certification in TOGAF or similar architecture methodologies will be an added advantage. Skills and Experience: 1. Over 10 years of IT Infrastructure Solution architecture experience. 2. An ability to be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally at all levels including communicating complex technical issues to a non-technical user base 3. Experience in architecting system integration projects with multiple technologies, including Servers, Networks, and Storage 4. Experience in delivering projects involving migration, consolidation or virtualization of existing platforms 5. Updated on latest technology trends in the market place 6.
