Position Details: Assessing/documenting telecom rack layout. Photograph and document racks as well as individual components. Documentation will include models, MAC Addresses and serial #'s when possible. Assessment of any other secondary components. Assessment of Analog components. Team up with the lead Field Engineer (FE) to tag and tone necessary Analog components within the building. Assist lead FE with Voice Gateway installation . Assist lead FE with phone placement; document Cat 5 requirements and locations Requirements Experience with the structured cabling side (toning/tagging, analog phone systems).
