Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to: * Support day-to-day work related to requirements, release management and production support * Be able to write requirements, lead release meetings and complete troubleshooting * Be a quick learner so he/she can pick up on how the system functions so he/she can be effective in answering questions from developers * Know enough SQL to be able to understand table structure, as well write and run queries to perform analysis Minimum Qualifications: * A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in SDLC management including experience with data and process analysis is required * Must be a self-starter and able to work independently * Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential * Strong collaboration and influencing skills * Strong analytical skills * Demonstrated ability to independently turn business needs into a solution roadmap and detailed requirements for technical and non-technical audiences * Demonstrate ability to effectively manage and influence in a matrix organization; developing partnerships with many business and technology functional areas outside of direct reporting teams * Candidates must have excellent organizational skills; be detail-oriented, customer focused, and excited about working under tight deadlines in a fast paced, agile development environment * A background in end-to-end system development; supporting development of detailed business and technical requirements and back-end performance assessment is required Preferred Skills: * Solid understanding of internal business tools in the financial services industry * Background in banking lines of business such as Commercial and Corporate Banking and their business processes and products
