Position Title: Jr.C++ Software Engineer Job Type: Contract to hire Job Duration: 3 months to hire Location: Mountain View, CA Tax Terms: W2 Overview of Responsibilities The Software Engineer will design and develop software for the core product that supports the client*s Wireless WLS Technology. He/she will be an important member of the product development team and will be responsible for development and support of software products and components in a dynamic software development organization. Key responsibilities include: Implement software components and test/integrate with product sub -systems. Support and troubleshooting of existing features and releases Qualifications: BS or MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Minimum of 2 years of software product development experience. Strong C/C++ programming skills in Linux development environment is required. Knowledge of object-oriented design and methodology is required. Knowledge and/or experience in wireless standards/protocols - GSM , UMTS and LTE. Knowledge and/or experience in RF network engineering a plus. Knowledge of TCP/IP and network programming using sockets is a plus. Experience in Java, MySQL and lex/yacc a plus. Experience in MATLAB a plus. Skills and Abilities: Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
