Website Data & Project Coordinator
A small, team-oriented publishing and information services company based in Boston is seeking a Website Data & Project Coordinator to manage and maintain the company’s website database. This is a 4-month contract position with the possibility of becoming a full-time regular position. The Website Data & Project Coordinator position includes data entry, importing and exporting files, creating and editing existing information as well as disabling records in the database; respond to customer service inquiries regarding website content changes, updates, additions and deletions in a courteous and friendly manner; process the database uploads to the company’s website on a daily basis; ensure all new database content and change requests have been uploaded correctly, and error free; proactively contact customers to verify their company information (e.g.,trial listings, profile contact information, links, etc..) is up-to-date; review and approve job postings and provide customer service support to the sales associates; assist in the promotion of web traffic to the company’s website--areas may include, but not limited to: requesting links on 3rd party websites, visiting blogs and message boards to educate members about clinical trial information and identify health related websites for link exchanges and potential Clinical Trial Resource Centers. Other responsibilities include assisting team with projects and workload. Tasks may include: Data entry of information sent to us by Pharmaceutical companies for publication on our web site using custom software Basic HTML coding Assist with preparing reports which may include, but not limited to, monthly statistics for management team, analytical reporting for customers and sales support as needed. Contact organizations to promote the company on their website Proof and approve job postings Visit message boards and blogs to educate readers about clinical research Customer Service tasks through email and phone Skills Basic knowledge of HTML coding High attention to detail Deadline oriented and strong multi-tasking skills Ability to learn new programs and tasks easily, follow and update checklist of recurring tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and with a team Make suggestions for improvements to process Programs used but not limited to: Microsoft Access Intuit Quickbase Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, & Outlook) Google Analytics FTP programs Education and/or Experience 2 or 4 year degree or equivalent Strong English language skills - verbal and written Ideal candidate must be able to think and innovate. Depending on the person's skills & potential, the job could broaden over time. Working Environment / Physical Activities: Work conducted in office, requires constant use of desktop PC as well as telephone and facsimile.
