In the role of the Sr. Project Manager supporting GSO HA/DR Projects and large program efforts, you will be responsible for managing Infrastructure projects ensuring project delivery meets on time, on budget, in scope, and within quality constraints. You will be responsible for project execution, status reporting, interaction with, and managing project stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities Include: * Manage multiple complex investment initiatives simultaneously, responsible for proposal, scope, approach, budget, resources, milestones, and quality of deliverables * Direct responsibility for managing and tracking risk remediation activities across all GTI Technology Towers * Run and facilitate weekly GTI HA / DR Program Management meeting * Develop key program / project metrics and reporting * Be responsible for data collection, quality, and maintenance * Weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reporting is required for multiple audiences * Be the 'Key Interface' to HA/DR firm-wide initiative for reporting and coordination of activities across Programs * Be accountable for driving risk remediation, issues, risks, and escalation * Review existing high availability and disaster recovery methodology and materials; identify opportunities to enhance based on HA/DR past experience performing design reviews disaster recovery testing and risk assessments * Tailor availability review methodology materials, as appropriate * Assist our client to initiate the application resilience study meetings with the appropriate application and technical infrastructure representatives; as new applications and/or environments are identified * Assist our client to develop a process for tracking and reporting risk/gap remediation to include creating a remediation schedule for following-up with application and service owners to review progress and risks remediated * Assist with developing key metrics; developing and producing bi-weekly steering committee reports Essentials: * 10+ years of IT Project Management experience; relevant business; or team leadership * Expert Excel and data manipulation skills - importing and linking data, creating pivot tables, creating charts and graphs, etc. * Someone who has been involved or managed projects with high availability and disaster recovery experience is a big plus * Must be energetic, extremely responsive, results/task driven, with excellent written / verbal communication skills * Ability to manage multiple projects within the program using strong project management rigor * Heavy experience with infrastructure technologies * Experience with the internal systems for P3 reporting system, Business Case tool, change control, demand forecasting/demand planning, and resource management and cross-impacting used within each region - TSPAN, Prime, ECM, EURC, WRM, etc. a big plus * Understanding of the global datacenter infrastructure; experience deploying server hardware, and deploying software applications into production datacenter environments * Understanding of technologies for operating system installation and configuration management across Windows, Linux, and UNIX OS platforms * Understanding of server-related technologies including network and storage requirements for server operation * Understanding SDLC processes and ability to manage application-related projects from customer requirements definition to delivering application content solutions * Experience working with lines of business and GTI Towers * Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups * Be capable of managing complex issues in a changing environment * Strong team management skills including planning, budgetary control, people management, etc. * Requires good understanding and experience of Project Management delivery methods and tools * Requires detailed knowledge of the Project Life Cycle * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
